More efficient use of QStrings
...
- use .isEmpty() instead of == QLatin1String( "" ) to check for
empty strings
- use .clear() instead of = QLatin1String( "" ) to empty a string
- remove unnecessary QString initializations

...
This will lookup the representation value given the widget
configuration. This is helpful to get nicely formatted messages for
