Publishing your map to web services such as GeoServer or MapServer takes quite a bit of effort. At least, without the plug-in GeoCat Bridge for QGIS.
With Bridge, you no longer have to upload each layer and style separately; instead, you can publish the data, style and metadata all at once. In addition, the StyleViewer translates the style to SLD, MapServer, MapBox or GeoStyler format.
We will show you the difference between publishing with or without Bridge and how to publish multiple styled map layers at once to GeoServer or MapServer, while at the same time the metadata will be published to a GeoNetwork portal.
