mhugent 20d4d60ce0 moved the responsability for not-commited features to qgsvectorlayer. Because of this, it is now possible to treat not-commited features like commited ones. Vectordataproviders now only need to implement 'addFeatures','deleteFeatures', 'supportsFeatureAddition' and 'supportsFeatureDeletion' if they support feature addition or deletion ...
